Legal Training Course:
A legal course in International Law and Palestinian Refugees’ Rights was jointly organized in Beirut, during the period 25-29 November 2013, by the Center for the Refugee Rights /Aidoun and Amel House of Human Rights, in coordination with the human rights program at the Norwegian People’s Aid/NPA. This course provided unique and advanced information, tools, and training to law graduates, lawyers, researchers and human right defenders in Lebanon on the rights of the Palestinian refugees and their legal status in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Palestine in the framework of international law and international refugee regulation. Trainers who participated in training were from Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Canada. 20 participants participated in the training course. 9 from Lebanon, 2 from Iraq, 2 from Syria, 2 Palestinians / Syrian and 4 Palestinians / Lebanese.
